Shawn Carter is the founder and Broker of Record of Carter Realty, LLC. Mr. Carter opened the real estate brokerage in the Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland in 2003. As a Maryland attorney, Mr. Carter has experience with both residential and commercial transactions. In founding the Company, one of Mr. Carter’s many goals was to help people realize the benefits and rewards of real estate.

Raised in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, Mr. Carter earned his Bachelor’s degree in Government and Law from Lafayette College in 1993. After completing his undergraduate education, Mr. Carter moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he attended law school at the University of Maryland at Baltimore earning his JD degree in 1996.
